Synopsis
  1. Eddie is a 10 year old boy who faces bullying at school.  He lives alone with his mother who struggles to make ends meet by working shifts at a long term care facility.  One day, Eddie is quite literally chased into a meeting with a gang - the Black Diamond Crew.  Sensing an opportunity, the leader Clutch seems to solve Eddie’s bully problem almost  instantly.  He also gives the boy some money to purchase new clothes.  He invites Eddie to return the next day; the hook has been set.  Upon his return, Eddie is coaxed to shoplift some drinks for members of the crew.  The child has now stepped through the door  into a world of crime.   The boy is given the nickname “Mouse” and begins his tutelage in the ways of theft and the drug trade.  The film follows a child’s decent into gang culture; a society governed by codes of “honour” enforced with brutal violence.   The story also portrays a mother’s belated yet horrifying realization that she has lost her son to the street.  The story of Mouse comes to a disturbing climax when the inevitable violence of gang life destroys another young life.
